Food Glorious Food

A year on the road exposed us to many delicious dishes in Asia.  My own delicious dish, Kristen, has somehow miraculously managed to stay slim and gorgeous while I have taken on a barrel like shape and are preparing myself for several bouts of serious dieting once we get back to Sydney,

Here are some of the culprits.  We have ship food, train food, bus food, restaurant and cafe food, home cooked food, street stall food, food market food, food, food, food, all of it invariably delicious.  Huge improvements in preparation standards and refrigeration mean that these days all of the food in Asia is not only scrumptious but perfectly safe and hygienic.  We didn’t have the slightest bit of trouble, (apart from me trying to fit into my trousers with an ever increasing degree of difficulty).

  1. Same problem here. Very frustrating! We eat irregularly on the road and lots of starches. I eat pretty much everything but am still weary of fresh salads on the road. They are not available much any ways.
    Thank good for elastic waists.
